Kate Worrall

I joined Guideposts in 2009 via quite an unusual career path; I am a qualified teacher and taught maths before using my “head for numbers” in accountancy. I have worked in various accountancy practices, run my own business and been Head of Finance for a high-tech engineering company – who taught me a bit of particle physics in return! In 2008, I took a year out to trek and see the world, before joining Guideposts, initially as Director of Finance. Guideposts is my first role in the Voluntary Sector and I love it!

Now Managing Director, I’m continually inspired and delighted by the commitment of our staff as they help us deliver an imaginative range of high quality services. In a rapidly changing social care and mental health sphere, Guideposts is increasingly relevant to more and more people. I enjoy being part of an energetic and visionary management team as we respond to their needs!
