Guideposts are using some quality standards to enhance our processes and be able to demonstrate our commitment to quality. Currently we are working on our practice for supporting our staff and volunteers, and our governance and procedures. We have also achieved recognition for the following:

The Information Standard

In Summer 2014 Guideposts retained the Information Standards accreditation. This means that our process for producing Health and Social Care information has been accredited and we are able to demonstrate this to our Service Users through using their logo, as long as we have used the information production procedure.

Two Ticks - positive about disabled people

Guideposts received its Two Ticks accreditation in 2015. The two Ticks schemes supports employers to make the most of the talents that disabled people can bring to the work place.

Investors in People - Bronze Award

Guideposts achieved the Investors in People Bronze award in February 2016.  Investors in People Awards are recognised worldwide as a standard for better people management. They also support us as an organisation with the assessment of our development and management processes.

The Social Care Commitment

This is a voluntary standard to ensure that social care values are turned into tasks and lived practice in all of our daily work. Signing up is really important as it shows that our staff and organisation are committed to quality care. It also gives us the opportunity to celebrate the good work that Guideposts does every day.
