Carers Emergency Service

You or someone on your behalf can call an emergency number, explain the situation, and give your details. Emergency situations include things like: Being taken ill or admitted to hospital unexpectedly, being called to a family emergency elsewhere, being stuck due to unexpected travel problems and being unable to reach the person you care for. For all of these situations and more Carers Emergency Service is here to help you.

Carers Support Services in Oxfordshire

Dementia Oxfordshire

Dementia Oxfordshire is a partnership between three local charities Age UK Oxfordshire, Guideposts and Young Dementia UK who are bringing together their specialist expertise to develop a new Dementia Support Service for all ages. 

Lights Up

This arts and activity based friendly club is for people with memory difficulties. Guideposts runs the club on behalf of West Oxfordshire District Council. 

Thyme Together

Our project aims concentrate on an individuals physical and emotional health and well-being. We focus attentively on the needs of the individual and working closely with families and carers, providing both time and support through a long-term plan, to ensure mutually agreed outcomes are met. 

Young Carers

Guideposts works with Be Free Young Carers to help ensure young carers aged 8 - 24 living in Oxfordshire access the support they need.
