Guideposts is a multi-disciplinary social care & mental health charity, focused upon PEOPLE and their wellbeing.

We have over 40 years’ experience of meeting the needs of potentially vulnerable people, who face numerous complex challenges: from autism, learning disability and mental health issues – to physical disability and age-related conditions, such as dementia, sensory impairment or mobility problems.

Guideposts’ Care & Support services, Information Advice & Guidance teams and Independent Living Support projects all exist to connect people and their carers with opportunities wherever they live. Our rainbow-coloured logo represents our multi-skilled “safety net of support” , which saves vulnerable people and their loved ones from falling through the gaps in state provision  – into isolation and unhappiness.

Here First

Whether you have been diagnosed with a long-term condition or are caring for someone else, we are HERE to listen, to help make sense of your situation and connect you to the support you need!
